  변화된 사회 환경과 새로운 의학적 요구로 인해 단순한 의학적 지식만이 아닌 의과학자임과 동시에 인간-사회를 통찰하고 이를 통합하여 아우르는 의료 분야 리더로서의 역할을 수행하게 될 학생들에게 의료 전문가로서의 융복합적 학문이라 할 수 있는 휴먼시스템의학을 소개하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위하여 휴먼시스템의학에 대한 개괄적 안내와 휴먼시스템의학을 구성하는 세부 학문적 내용을 소개한다. 학생들로 하여금 인문학, 사회과학, 의과학적 지식과 소양을 겸비하여 휴먼시스템즈 의학의 개념과 특성을 파악하게 하고 이러한 영역들의 학문적, 사회적 중요성을 인지시킨다. 인간과 사회 및 인간을 둘러싸고 있는 마이크로, 메크로시스템을 엮는 시스템즈 의학에 대해 기본적인 개념을 갖게 함으로써 학생들은 휴먼시스템의학의 본질과 특성을 전체적으로 이해하게 될 것이다.
 The purpose of this course is to introduce a Human System Medicine to students who will play the role of a leader in the medical field due to the changing social environment and new medical needs. For this purpose, this course introduces an overview of Human System Medicine and the detailed academic contents that make up Human System Medicine. This course allows students to grasp the concepts and characteristics of human science, social science, medical science; also it recognizes the academic and social importance of these fields. Through the basic concept of systems medicine, which connects humans, society, and surrounding micro and macro systems, students will gain a general understanding of the nature and characteristics of Human System Medicine.

  This course introduces the fields of Human System Medicine to students; it deals with the history of the academic development of each field, the status of medicine, and the interaction between medical development. It promotes a deeper theoretical understanding through academic research in fields such as public health, disaster medical system, systems psychiatry, medical education, evidence-based medical technology evaluation, and international health. The course will be conducted in the form of a seminar, using core literature in major fields. By taking this course, students will explore an in-depth understanding of Human System Medicine.

  The class provides comprehensive knowledge and skills on characteristics of disaster-related diseases (DRDs) caused by natural disasters (flood, earthquake, climate change events) and social disasters (biologic, chemical, and artificial events). Students can establish the public health plan on mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery of disaster.

  The class provides comprehensive knowledge and skills on concept of disaster medical services systems (DMSS) on detection of incident, incident command and control, safety and security, triage-treatment-transfer, evacuation, and recovery during disaster event. Students can establish the public health plan on optimal resource allocation and service provision on the basis of the demand-supply prediction for the disaster.

 본 과목은 의학교육을 공부하는 대학원생들에게 의학교육학에 대해 전반적인 소개를 하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위하여 교육이란 무엇인지, 교육학의 범주는 어떤 것인지, 그 중에서 의학교육학의 특징이 무엇인지, 의학교육의 과거, 현재는 어떻게 발전하여 왔는지, 의학교육에 영향을 미치는 요인들은 어떤 것이 있는지, 의학교육의 미래상은 어떤 모습인지 등을 조명해 본다. 또한 의학교육학의 다양한 분야에 대해 개괄적으로 살펴보고자 하며, 대학원 학생들은 의학교육의 개념과 특성을 전체적으로 파악하게 될 것이다. 
  The course is designed to guide students in gaining an introductory overview of medical education. To this end, postgraduate students will review and discuss the meaning of education, category of pedagogy and characteristics of medical education, the history of it, various factors influencing it, and the future of it. students are expected to gain factors that affect medical education. And  the future of it is to shed light on what it looks like. Also students are made an overview of the various fields of medical education. The concept and characteristics of medical education will be grasped as a whole.

  본 과목은 의학교육을 공부하는 대학원생들에게 다양한 의학교육의 방법론에 관해 교육하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 의학교육은 세부학문간 통합교육, 팀바탕학습, 사례바탕학습, 플립러닝, 시뮬레이션, 각종 토의법, 학생상담법 등 다양한 교육방법을 채택하고 발전시켜 왔다. 본 과목을 통하여 학생들은 의학교육 현장에서의 다양한 교육방법이 교육학적으로 어떤 의미를 갖고 있는지를 파악하고, 의학교육방법을 활용하는 것을 배우게 된다.
  The purpose of the course is educate postgraduate medical students on the methodology of various medical education. Medical education has developed various instructional methodologies, such as inter-disciplinary integrated learning, team-based learning, case-based learning, flipped learning, simulation, discussion method, counseling. Through this subject, postgraduate medical students understand what various methods of education in the field of medical education meaning in pedagogically and learn how to use medical education.

  이 과목은 교육프로그램 개발과 평가의 철학과 이론, 실천적 방법론을 다룬다. ‘문제발견과 일반적 요구사정 – 대상 집단의 요구사정 – 목표설정 – 교수학습 전략 – 시행 – 평가와 피드백’의 사이클로 구성되는 프로그램 개발과 평가의 방법론은 ‘의과대학 교육과정’, ‘졸업 후 교육과정’, ‘평생교육과정’등에 모두 적용될 수 있으며, 각 교육과정을 구성하는 개별 교육 프로그램의 개발과 평가에도 적용될 수 있다. 학생들은 가상의 교육과정을 개발하는 프로젝트 학습을 통해 개발과 평가의 방법론을 실천적으로 익히게 될 것이며, 효과적인 교육프로그램 구현을 위해 필수적으로 알아야 할 교수-학습 환경, 교육방법, 교수전략 등도 심층적으로 탐구하게 될 것이다. 
  This course is designed to introduce the philosophy, theory and practice of education program development and evaluation to students. The course will introduce step by step approach to curriculum development: problem identification and general needs assessment, targeted needs assessment, goals and objectives, educational strategies, implementation, and evaluation and feedback. This approach can be applied to ‘basic medical education in medical schools, graduate education, and continuing education. Students will have a chance of practical learning by project-based learning approach.

 정신의학에서 환자와의 상호작용은 사람의 마음에 대한 이해를 추구하기 위한 것이었지만, 정신의학이 도구화(instrumentalization) 되면서 환자에 대한 이해는 증상 체크리스트를 만들고 이것을 매뉴얼과 대조해 진단을 맞춰내는 수준으로 격하되었다. 이 강좌는 사람의 마음이 동작하는 방식을 탐구함으로써 정신증상을 인간의 실존적 맥락에서 이해하는 것을 목표로 삼는다. 이를 위해 이 강좌는 (1) 정신병리학에 대한 역사적 고찰, (2) 다른 사람의 마음을 이해하기 위한 현상학적 방법 (3) 마음의 기능부전을 진화의학적 관점에서 파악하기 등의 과제를 다룰 것이다.
  Doctor-patient relationship in psychiatry originally aimed at an understanding of human mind. However in today’s instrumentalized psychiatry, this interaction was degraded to the level of getting a checklist of symptoms and matching symptoms with diagnoses using a technical manual.
This course is set up to investigate how our mind works, and thus to understand psychiatric symptoms as the expressions of human existence. This course includes following subjects (1) a review on the history of psychopathology (2) phenomenologic methods in understanding human mind (3) an evolutionary perspective in understanding dysfunctions of human mind.

  진화론은 인류가 스스로를 파악하는 개념을 혁명적으로 바꾼 사건이었다. 진화론은 생물의 진화뿐만 아니라 인류집단의 사회문화적 변화를 설명하기 위해서도 좋은 파라다임이 된다. 진화생물학(evolutionary biology)은 생명체가 겪는 다양한 사건들을 진화적 시각에서 이해하려 한다. 의학에 적용되었을 때 진화생물학은 질병을 궁극원인(ultimate cause)이라는 관점에서 봄으로써 임상의학의 관점인 근접원인(proximate cause) 추구보다 넓은 시각을 가지게 한다. “질병이란 무엇인가?”에 대해 더 포괄적 이해를 구하는 것이다. 그러나 진화론은 실험적 데이터만을 강조하는 현재의 기계적 의과학 체계에서 힘을 얻지 못하고 있다. 이런 분야는 오히려 휴먼시스템 의학이 추구하기 적절한 과제가 된다.
  The theory of evolution brought about a revolutionary change in how humans conceive themselves. Evolutionary theories  provide excellent paradigms in explaining human sociocultural changes as well as biological changes. The evolutionary biology observes various biological events under the perspective of evolution. When applied to medicine, the evolutionary biology searches for  ultimate causes of diseases while the clinical medicine usually deals only with proximate causes. Thus the evolutionary medicine could provide us with a wider and comprehensive view about “what is the disease?”Regretfully, under the domination of bio-mechanical medicine which emphasizes only experimental data, evolutionary perspective could not be sufficiently evaluated. These areas are more suitable project for the “human systems medicine.”

  본 과목은 일차적으로 의료기술평가와 근거기반의사결정 과목을 선수강한 학생들이 보다 전문적인 주제를 이해하고 다룰 수 있도록 계획되었으며, 강의 뿐 아니라 세미나와 토론을 통해 의료기술평가의 특정 방법론으로서 임상적 근거합성 방법의 전문적인 주제를 탐구하며 실제적이고 깊이 있는 이해를 갖추는데 주안점을 두었다. 해당 과목의 구체적인 내용을 다루기 위해서는 임상연구 방법론 및 의학통계에 대한 일정 수준 이상의 이해가 필요하며, 베이지안 접근방식을 포함하여 임상적 의료의사결정 수행에 필요한 근거 창출의 맥락에서 광범위한 근거 구조에 적용될 수 있는 근거 합성에 대한 접근으로서 메타 분석, 간접 비교 및 ​​혼합 치료 비교를 수행하는 방법에 대한 구체적인 논의를 진행하고 실용적인 가이드를 제공한다.
  This course is designed, primarily for the students who undertook the course of Evidence Based Clinical Decision Making and Health Technology Assessment a priori, to explore specialized topics in methods of evidence synthesis with the intent of deeper understanding of specific discipline in Health Technology Assessment, and could be conducted through a seminar/discussion. Particular course contents will require intermediate level of understanding in clinial research methodology and statistics to cover a general approach to evidence synthesis that can be applied to a very wide range of evidence structures with a  Bayesian framework. The course will provide a practical guide on how to carry out meta-analyses, indirect comparisons, and mixed treatment comparisons, in a decision-making context.

  고령화와 함께 완치되지 못하지만 꾸준히 관리해야하는 질환이 늘어나고 있는 현 시점에서 다시 재택진료의 필요성이 증가하고 있다. 만성질환의 증가와 고령화로 재택진료의 종류와 빈도가 꾸준히 증가하고 있는 해외의 사례를 살펴보고, 급성질환에 대한 입원 후 발생하는 Transitional care, 특별한 기술의 지원이 필요한 Skilled home care, 적절한 기자재와 기술이 같이 요구되는 Hospital at home 등과 함께 고령자들의 만성질환 관리를 위해 필요성이 증가하고 있는 Home based primary care 등의 차이과 특징을 알아본다.
  Home-based care can be defined as any form of assistance provided to a sick person referred to as the patient directly in the home by family, friends and members of the local community, cooperating with the advice and support from the trained health workers. It is not only intended to give care to bedridden condition, but also intended for the psychosocial support, reducing stigma and discrimination, adherence monitoring in order to have the comprehensive continuum care of people. We will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of home based care, who need home based care and what is the future of home based care

  Human resources are one of the most important components of the whole health system. Understanding the planning, structure, education, training, and management of human resources for medicine is crucial to design and implement effective policies and education programs for medical professionals.   본 과목은 장차 의료 환경 혹은 지역사회에서 리더로서 역할을 수행하게 될 대학원 의학과 학생들에게 집단대화촉진법을 소개하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 참여란 무엇인지, 촉진이란 무엇인지, 의사결정에서 관여의 수준은 어떤 것들이 있는지, 참여를 촉진하기 위해서는 어떤 환경을 만들어야 하는지, 집단의 여정이란 무엇인지, 그리고 집중대화기법, 합의워크숍기법 등 효과적인 집단촉진기법 등을 다룬다. 이를 통해 학생들은 많은 사람의 지혜를 모아 효율적, 효과적으로 현명한 집단 의사결정을 내리는 방법과 지혜를 습득할 수 있을 것이다.
  This course is designed to guide students in gaining a general introduction to the theory and methodology of group facilitation. Students will review and discuss what is participation, what is facilitation, the ladder of inclusion in decision making, environmental condition that promotes participation, group journey, and Focused Conversation Method, Consensus Workshop Method etc. By discussions and practices, students are expected to learn methodologies to collate wisdom of participants and make most effective, efficient group decisions.

  In order to train health care experts for patient training and counseling, this course seeks to explore and understand effective and systematic patient education and primary medical counseling theories. In addition, This course reviews the problems of patient education and counseling in Korea's current medical services, discuss new patient education and counseling methods to improve the quality of medical services and improve the effectiveness of health care, and seek ways to activate them.

  이 강좌에서는 최근 증가하고 있는 청년기 정신건강 문제를 이해하기 위해 다각적 측면에서 대학생 정신건강 문제를 이해하고 정신건강 문제 대응 및 예방을 위한 방안을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
기분장애, 불안장애, 중독 등 대학생 시기에 호발하는 정신장애 및 자살의 임상지식과 최신 연구결과를 고찰하고 이에 대응하기 위한 대학정신건강 서비스의 역사, 역할 및 모델에 대해 논의한다.
  The purpose of this course is to understand the mental health problems of college community that are increasing in recent years, and to seek ways to respond to and prevent them.
This course will review the latest research and clinical knowledge regarding mental disorders common to college students, such as mood disorder, anxiety disorder, addiction, and suicides in college students. The history, role, and model of college mental health services also will be discussed.

 This course explores various examples of communication through materials such as news articles and media, books and movies, and deals with theoretical concepts related to communication. Based on the concept and knowledge of communication, students in health-related area can gain insight into various business situations and interpersonal communication patterns that will be encountered in the future, and develop or suggest a more appropriate form of communication.

  글로벌의학에서 건강을 결정하는 개인의 사회경제적 수준, 집단 내 사회적 관계, 지역 특성, 문화, 정책 등의 다층적이고 다각적인 요인들을 각각 심층 탐색하고 이해한다. 수업을 통해 중저개발국 상황에서 인구집단의 건강을 결정짓는 근본적인 원인으로서의 사회적 맥락과 조건을 배운다. 인류학, 경제학, 사회학, 정치학, 정책학, 국제관계학 등에서 이론과 방법론을 활용하여 글로벌의학 배경에서 건강의 결정 요인들을 살펴보고, 건강문제를 해결할 수 있는 전략과 정책, 사업 등을 토의한다.
  This course seeks to explore and understand multi-layered and multifaceted determinants in the context of global medicine, including individual-level socioeconomic status, group-level social relationships, regional characteristics, culture, and policies. Students will develop eyes to view problems regarding health, health care, and service provisions and utilization from the social perspectives that emphasize social contexts as fundamental causes of population illness and disease in low- and middle income countries. This course reviews the determinants based on theories and methodologies from anthropology, economics, sociology, politics, policy, and international relations within the context of global medicine. Strategies, policies, and interventions to tackle the challenges are discussed.

  This course will provide an overview of the geographical, socio-cultural, economic, and political framework for the study and understanding of medical problems on a worldwide scale, and as basis for global medicine. Provides an introduction to global health, including: the burden and distribution of disease and mortality; the determinants of global health disparities; the making of global health policies; and the outcomes of global health interventions. This course will cover geographical patterns of major diseases and health problems of global health importance, availability and needs for medical technology, and comparisons between diverse education and health care delivery systems. By the end of this course students should have acquired an understanding of diverse determinants of the global burden of major diseases and the relationships between geographical factors and global medicine.

  본 과목은 의료기술평가 수행을 통해 과학적 근거에 기반한 임상적 의사결정을 실행하는 근거기반의료의 개념을 소개하고 의료기술평가를 실제로 수행하기 위한 연구 방법론을 중점적으로 다룬다. 다양한 과학적 근거를 제시하는 임상연구의 형태로서 환자-대조군연구, 코호트연구 및 임상시험 설계와 수행, 의학연구 문헌의 비판적 평가, 체계적 문헌고찰과 메타분석 등을 의료기술의 비교효과를 평가하기 위한 연구방법론으로서 강의하고, 의료기술 도입에 따른 경제성 평가 및 성과연구 수행과 의료기술평가 적용에 대한 강의를 시행한다. 아울러 연구결과가 의료현장에서의 의사결정에 어떻게 활용될 수 있는지 실제 의료기술의 평가 적용사례를 통해 이해할 수 있도록 한다.
  This course introduces the concept of evidence-based medicine that implements clinical decision-making based on scientific evidence through HTA(Health Technology Assessment), and focuses on research methodologies to perform the HTA practically. Study designs including case-control studies, cohort studies, clinical trials, critical appraisal of clinical research literature, systematic literature review and meta-analysis will be covered as a form of clinical research methodology for assessing comparative effectiveness of a particular health technology. Lectures on economic evaluation and outcomes research will also be given to present how such a methodology could be applied to HTA process. The course will help students to understand how research evidence can be applied for decision-making in the clinical field through practical examples of HTA applications.

  의료진은 죽음과 상실이라는 인생의 과제를 환자 및 보호자와 함께 끊임없이 고민하고 참여해야 한다. 그러나 지난 수 십 년간 의학 혹은 과학기술적 측면에만 치중해온 교육과 의료는 때로 의료 현장 혹은 사회에서 환자나 일반인들과의 불필요한 오해, 갈등, 좌절을 다루는데 부족한 면이 있었다. 죽음과 상실을 겪으며 인생의 큰 도전을 받고 있는 환자와 가족들을 돌보고 방향을 제시해 주어야 하는 의료진들을 위한 이 강좌에서는 죽음에 대한 다양한 인문학적 시각과 역사적 배경을 통해 알아보는 한편 이에 대한 최신 연구와 임상 지식을 고찰하고 함께 토론할 예정이다. 이 강좌를 통하여 학생들은 전공이나 교육 배경과 상관없이 죽음과 상실에 대한 인문학적 소양을 쌓아 고통 받는 환자와 가족, 더 나아가 사회 전체와 어떻게 소통하여 구체적인 도움을 줄 수 있는지에 대해 보다 창의적이고 실천적인 대안을 도출해 나갈 수 있을 것이다.
 Health professionals should participate in the process of dying and loss with patients and their family members. For several decades, however, medical education and practices have given more priority to science and technology than humanities and literature. Ignorance on humanitarian approach toward dying and loss have sometimes brought unnecessary misunderstandings, conflicts, and frustration due to the lack of philosophical knowledge on life and death for good-enough medical practice. This course will review the extant literature in humanities regarding dying and loss with latest medical research and clinical knowledge. At the end of this course, students, regardless of their majors or backgrounds, will be able to understand the meanings of dying and explore how to communicate and help people who get lost and suffer for dying or loss.
